Vikkie Moule on air with Youth Radio Rocks

Vikkie presents her show on Saturdays from Midday. Its split between ‘box of frogs’ from midday and then the other hour which frankly has no name from 1pm. Its a belter of a show and well worth tuning into.

Vikkie’s brain drizzle

Local places I love

Mission Burrito. I know it’s a chain, but, Burritos! Also Java, The Little Theatre Cinema, Victoria Park and the more scenic parts of the canal.

Songs I love

Pretty much anything from the 80s, a lot of the more classic rock… hey, if it’s got a tune and you can dance to it, I’m all for it!

Movies I love

Little Shop of Horrors (The Frank Oz version, particularly the recent re-release with the extended ending), Blues Brothers, Avengers Assemble, almost all of the Muppet Movies, the Child’s Play series, Singin’ In The Rain, I love Melvin… Anything by Pixar… Oh, God, too much choice!

TV shows I love

Supernatural (even though I hate that I love it), Black Books, Firefly, Shameless (the US version), The Muppet Show, Dinnerladies, Animaniacs… I’m not very good at picking favourites, am I?

Food I love

Literally anything. I would eat a hubcap if it had the right seasoning.

Celebs I love

Well obviously the ones in my favourite movies and TV shows… other than that, I guess I’m not really a follower of the gossip mags. I’m a major nerd for voice actors though, I think Tress MacNeille and Maurice Lamarche are probably my favourites, although Rob Paulsen’s in there too.

Websites I love

Number one has to be WhatHaveYou Comedy, purely because I’m one of the creative goofs behind it, but after that I’d say Loading Ready Run, Final Boss Fight, and I do love Tumblr (VikkieTheMimm if you want to follow). There’s also a load of webcomics I read, Questionable Content, SMBC, Grrl Power, Bear Nuts, Nedroid… and I aboslutely love watching Markiplier’s youtube channel.

Parts of the world I love

I have not been to nearly enough different places. I love Bath and Bristol, and I guess London’s OK, but I clearly need to go to the rest of the world! If you want to give me the money to do so, please feel free to get in contact.

Things I love doing

Reading, writing, drawing, animating… basically, if I’m doing something creative I’m a happy duck, otherwise I’ll chill out with a movie, a box set, a video game or go to the theatre if I’m feeling rich and cultured.

Who would you most like to have a drink with, and why?

One choice only, alive or dead? I guess… it’d be a tough choice, but either Douglas Adams or Jim Henson. Why? Because they’re probably the people who’ve inspired me most in my life.

If you could swap places with someone for the day, who would it be and why?

Um… The Queen? or David Cameron? Or maybe someone who really needs a break from being them?

If you could only take three possessions to a desert island, what would they be?

1. Water
2. A fishing rod
3. A book titled “How to Get Off a Desert Island”

What would you call your autobiography?

100 Most Misleading Book Titles

Most worn item of clothing and why?

Probably one of my many pairs of jeans. Or a jumper I have which has a big comic-book-style “Pow!” across the front. It’s a good jumper.

What’s your proudest achievement so far?

Teaching myself Ventriloquism from a book.

Why I love being part of Youth Radio Rocks

I love being a part of Youth Radio Rocks because it gives me, and people like me, a chance to give a voice to the often un-heard portion of our age group, and open up avenues of communication between each other!
