Thomas on air with Youth Radio Rocks
Thomas Parsons started as part of the Kingswood Collective from Kingswood School where he and Sophia found the magic that made a special radio pairing. You can hear them every now and again on Youth Radio Rocks.
Thomas’s brain drizzle
Songs I love
I tend to listen to Top 40 songs, but at the moment my favourite artists have to be Meghan Trainer, and her song All About That Bass; Taylor Swift, and her song Blank Space; and Ed Sheeran with his songs Sing and Don’t.
Movies I love
Finding Nemo tops my list of favourite films. I’m a sucker for a great comedy or ghost story but just cannot bare horror or gore!
TV shows I love
My favourite shows have to be Top Gear and Waterloo Road.
Food I love
Chocolate. And lots of it.
Celebs I love
I love the Royal Family, as I think it is an important part of this country’s culture!
Websites I love
Facebook is my main website, keeping in contact with friends all over the world. Instagram is my absolute love, as I have built up quite a fan base with my photos from my travels.
Parts of the world I love
Gosh, for this part I would have to write a full on 40 page essay! I love travel, and my bucket list is so long – but if I had to pick 4 favourite places they would be London, Berlin, Madrid and Australia. You can read more about my travels on my blog www.tomsworldoftravel.blogspot.com
Things I love doing
I love walking, travelling and taking photos.
Most worn item of clothing and why?
My converse shoes – they are the most comfortable things ever, and I wear them everywhere!
Who would you most like to have a drink with, and why?
I would like to have a drink with David Cameron, it would be a great opportunity for him to unwind in what must be such a stressful job!
If you could only take three possessions to a desert island, what would they be?
My iPhone – for taking pictures
Wifi – Literally a life essential for any teen
Food/Water – I might as well put a sensible choice down, I don’t want to starve whilst I’m surfing the net on my desert island!
If you could swap places with someone for the day, who would it be and why?
Prince William. It would be such a great insight into the daily life of a royal!
What’s your proudest achievement so far?
I have a few from many parts of life.
School – achieving the right GCSE grades that meant I could continue to do A Levels at Kingswood, my school since yr 7
Internet – Achieving over 1000 views on my blog and having a photo of Big Ben featured on the huge Instagram page ‘@london’ (its very competitive)
Family – convincing my dad to buy me driving lessons (insert smug face here)
What would you call your autobiography?
‘Tom’s oh so very interesting Life’
Why I love being part of Youth Radio Rocks
I think Youth Radio Rocks is a fab opportunity to get experience of the way radio works. It’s also something that is great fun, as a relief from the unforgiving stress of A Levels.
